So Here I Am – Anna Russell

Rosie with “So Here I Am” by Anna Russell

This is a great book about some of the great female speeches that have been given. They’re often not included in books about speeches, and this book included some women I had not heard of.

Butterfly – Yusra Mardini

A fascinating look at a swimmer from Syria and her escape to Germany.

7×10 Bad Santa

David Suchet in the Footsteps of St Peter

Episode 1

Episode 2

Jurassic Park

I LOVE these movies. I also love how every time Jeff Goldblum stars in anything, he’s playing Jeff Goldblum.

The Lost World

Loved Jeff Goldblum in this. This was the only sequel I really enjoyed.

The Thin Man

These movies are classics for all the right reasons. Love Myrna Loy and William Powell together.

After the Thin Man

This is my favourite Thin Man movie. It is absolutely hilarious and you can completely tell that William Powell and Myrna Loy would often ad lib things in the movie.

Inspector Rex

2×08 Death of a Child: Love Rex with the logs of wood at home and then saving the little boy

11×09 Kill Beale Volume 1: Eric was a complete star in this and I loved the bit at the end with him dancing. So mad about this Nell/Hetty rift. They are literally my favourite relationship on the show.

11×10 Mother: So, so good. Did not care for Nell’s nasty snark at Hetty. LOVED Deeks riding the door out of the building.

6×01 Fallout: Oh hello evil Laurel. You are so much more fun when you’re evil. And Thea’s in a coma. Because of course she is.

My black poodle Rosie, lying down next to a book called "Photo Basics" by Joel Sartore
Rosie with “Photo Basics” by Joel Sartore

Photo Basics – Joel Sartore: Really enjoy this and I especially appreciated the tips for phone cameras as well, because I don’t have a DSLR as they are too heavy for me.

Slide:ology – Nancy Duarte: I really liked the overall look at creating effective Powerpoint presentations.

The Closer

7×12 You Have the Right to Remain Jolly: Love this episode

7×13 Relative Matters

9×11 Newborn King: I miss Ziva.

10×10 You Better Watch Out

11×11 Homesick

12×10 House Rules: Well this seems the start of the episodes that were supposed to be Christmassy but were definitely not Christmassy.

6×11 Humbug: And a humbug on Joelle, too

7×11 Cancel Christmas: I love Granger.

8×11 Tidings We Bring

9×11 All Is Bright: Nell is awesome.

10×11 Joyride: Christmas is not Christmas without Hetty

4×07 The Grimm Who Stole Christmas: Love Trubel.

Major Crimes

2×16 Risk Assessment: I love when I rewatched programs that I remember how much I love them

3×15 Chain Reaction: Honestly, Raydor’s kids are the worst.

4×18 Penalty Phase

Home Alone: An important Christmas movie. However all the children in Kevin’s family are terrible.

The Muppet Christmas Carol:This is the way Charles Dickens wrote it. Accept no imitations.

Warehouse 13

3×13 The Greatest Gift: Words cannot express how much I love this show

5×9 Bad Santa: I was actually kind of surprised this show only had two Christmas episodes because it seems impeccably suited to Christmasepisodes.
